Fellow Jasper Snoek submitted two journal papers in the realm of technology and aging with collaborators at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and University of Toronto.

- “[3D Human Motion Analysis to Detect Falls and Other Abnormal Events on Stairs](http://www.computer.org/csdl/proceedings/3dimpvt/2012/4873/00/4873a097.pdf)” is about detecting falls and dangerous gait on stairs

- “[Generalized Linear Models of Home Activity and In-home Walking Speed for Automatic Detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment in Older Adults](http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?reload=true&arnumber=6943682)” is about developing statistical models of older adults' movement in-home and using that for the early detection of cognitive impairment.
