Designing the Experience of the City: Prototyping with People, Places & Things

The Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanjcs was formed in 2010 as the Mayor's civic research and design team. MONUM explores and tackles experiments and prototypes that cover a range of topics. This includes everything from the future of mobility to City infrastructure to collective well-being.  We also serve as a “front door” to start-ups, universities, and other city innovation teams. Find out more about our work as well as ways to get involved!
