CRCS Fellow Jasper Snoek submitted two journal papers in the realm of technology and aging with collaborators at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and University of Toronto.
- “3D Human Motion Analysis to Detect Falls and Other Abnormal Events on Stairs” is about detecting falls and dangerous gait on stairs
- “Generalized Linear Models of Home Activity and In-home Walking Speed for Automatic Detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment in Older Adults” is about developing statistical models of older adults' movement in-home and using that for the early detection of cognitive impairment.
