My broad research aim is to investigate how data and technologies can enhance health equity. I examine how to design health technologies that catalyze social interactions aimed at helping individuals and communities to manage their health and wellbeing. In my research, I have been conducting the entire human-centered design process by designing, building, and evaluating novel health technologies in collaboration with local community partners. My research contributes to the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer-supported Cooperative Work (CSCW).
I obtained my Computer Science Ph.D. at Northeastern University, advised by Prof. Andrea G. Parker. I also received a Fulbright scholarship for my master’s degree in computer science at Northeastern University. As a Yogyakarta native, I completed my Bachelor of Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
